Cooking classes, very popular among foreigners, are closely linked to food and wine tourism. Restaurants and private chefs organize individual classes and courses for small groups at their premises or in hotels. Local chefs will teach you the techniques and small secrets of the excellent Tuscan cuisine. You will learn how to make fresh pasta (pici, tagliatelle, lasagne, gnocchi…), to cook game and fowl recipes and to make cheese like pecorino. The chef will provide you with suggestions about how to prepare these recipes at home and at the end of class let’s sit all together around the table to taste what you have cooked!
