Eggs with tomato sauce

When you don’t have time to cook or only have a few ingredients in your pantry, you can put eggs with tomato sauce on your table. This recipe is easy, cheap and quick to make when you want to have a simple but tasty dish that will never deceive you if complemented with a slice of good bread.

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • 15 San Marzano tomatoes
  • pepper

Preparation

  1. Rinse and cut tomatoes into pieces and cook in a frying pan with hot olive oil, adding salt to your taste.
  2. After 15-20 minutes add eggs, trying to space them out one another.
  3. Slowly stir with a wooden spoon to mix eggs and tomatoes during cooking.
  4. Cook eggs to your taste and sprinkle with ground black pepper. Place eggs on plates and serve with fresh bread.
