The Nume Academy & Festival, which brings the best of international classical music to the heart of Tuscany, Cortona, returns from 17 to 23 June 2024 with a packed calendar of events. The festival’s winning formula is confirmed once again this year, with classical music stars such as Tabea Zimmermann, Stella Chen, Andreas Brantelid and many others, flanked by a rigorous week of training for prestigious young musicians selected by audition from all over the world, which this year attracted up to 300 participants for 12 available places.

The Nume Academy & Festival has become a landmark on the world stage, an eagerly awaited date for the public, but also for international artists and young classical talents. The aim of the Academy is to support and accompany the artistic and professional growth of new generations of musicians, an ideal meeting and exchange place for artists, teachers and students, where they can express their talent and creativity in full respect of cultural and gender diversity: all the Academy’s programmes are offered completely free of charge, including master classes for violin, viola and cello.
