Description

Casa Chilenne B&B  was designed to combine the  comforts of a large hotel   with a relaxed, home- style environment.  Each  room’s furnishing highlights artisan work of local craftsmen (and women) from the furniture and decoration to the fixtures in each private bath.  A buffet breakfast prepared with local fresh baked goods, Italian and American style coffee drinks, assorted teas and infusions, juices, fresh fruit, yogurt,  a selection of cheeses and cured meats as well as hot breakfast entrees made to order are included in the price of your stay and served in our private dining room.  Your room will be freshened-up each morning.

Every room has guest controlled air conditioning and heating,  color TV with Sky multi-language satellite service, mini bar, safe box, direct dial telephone and  complementary ADSL LAN cable connection internet service.  Each private bath is equipped with a courtesy line of quality toiletries and amenities, hair dryer and magnifying vanity/ shaving mirror.
Our guest lounge on the top  floor is also air conditioned and equipped with a cooking corner, library, board games and cards , a color TV with satellite service  and DVD player as well as a fireplace and gives access to our rooftop  terrace.  Our terrace provides a pleasant place to relax in good company.

Our  five rooms are located on the top 3 floors of a recently restored historic building in the historic heart of town and  can be found on the first tourist map of Cortona  drawn by Pietro Berrettini and printed in 1674. The rooms are accessible via a narrow, steep stairway which has been fitted with chairlifts which provide access to all levels for guests as well as transport for luggage. 
Public transportation and parking can be found 100 ft from our front door.  Restaurants, shops, museums  and other points of interest are located just steps away  from our home.
