La Renaia

The holiday-home “La Renaia” is located in a country setting, only 2 miles away from Cortona, within a stone farm hamlet surrounded by annexes. The complex revolves around a well-proportioned and functional fenced courtyard which all apartments, individually equipped with private garden, look out on.

All common facilities, laundry-room, play-room and lounge area, wood-oven and barbecue, are accessible through the courtyard. The old stone farmhouse, built in the 16th century around the original watermill complex, was divided into three cosy and welcoming apartments, renovated to match the existing stonework in keeping with the original structure and comfortably furnished in the rustic Tuscan traditional style. The self-catering apartments can sleep from 4 to 6 people, have independent heating (two of them also with fireplace) and a fully-equipped private garden.

The complex is also equipped with a wood-burning antique oven and a covered barbecue area. Adjoining the main building are the gym and the billiards room, located in a converted cow-shed. A spacious garden surrounds the property and a 45X20 foot sunken swimming pool provides farm guests with a quiet, relaxing and fun spot in the summertime.
