These are the figures that bring together in Cortona the world of classical music.<\/p>\n<p>The arrival of the greatest artists of the classical music scene marks the beginning of a rich week of events in unique locations of breathtaking beauty. Concerts, masterclasses open to the public follow one another at a fast pace in a unique cultural experience.<\/p>\n<p>The beating heart of the festival is the prestigious academy for violin, viola and cello which this year attracted more than 300 aspiring candidates from all over the world. With only 12 places available, the selected highly talented young artists are already winners of international competitions.
