L'Hotel Corys è un piccolo ed accogliente relais nato da una sapiente ristrutturazione ed ubicato in straordinaria posizione panoramica, a circa 1 km dal centro di Cortona, raggiungibile a piedi per una tranquilla strada collinare. Dispone di piccola hall reception, bar, ascensore a norma e di sole 7 camere doppie dotate di ogni confort moderni adeguati alla sua categoria. Collegamento ad internet tramite linea ISDN a disposizione dei clienti gratuitamente. All'esterno veranda attrezzata per colazioni e giardino con panorama sulla Valdichiana. L'Hotel è privo di barriere architettoniche interne ed esterne.
Dispone dinoltre di piscina esterna con area relax attrezzata con sdraio, lettini, ombrelloni e cambio teli piscina giornaliero.

La maggior parte delle camere si affaccia sulla valle, mentre le altre godono di uno spazio esterno privato circondato dal verde con tavolini per trascorrere delle ore piacevoli all'ombra leggendo un libro o sorseggiando un the accompagnato dai nostri biscotti tipici e dolcetti toscani. La chiave magnetica consente anche l'ingresso indipendente alla hall.

Il raffinato Ristorante Corys - aperto anche alla clientela esterna - offre, sia all'interno della nostra accogliente e panoramica sala, sia all'esterno sulle nostre terrazze con vista sulla Valdichiana e sul lago Trasimeno, menu à la carte con possibilità di degustare un'ampia varietà di prodotti tipici di stagione e specialità della cucina toscana, grazie alle abili cure del nostro chef, accompagnati da ottimi vini regionali e nazionali insieme a un servizio cortese e attento. Il ristorante è aperto tutta la settimana. Su prenotazione si organizza il servizio di ristorazione per cerimonie.

Hotel Corys
This is a small, welcoming hotel with seven well-furnished, fully-equipped bedrooms offering luxurious holiday accommodation in one of the prettiest parts of Tuscany. Most of the rooms have marvelous views over the Valdichiana and Lake Trasimeno, the others look out over an enclosed, furnished garden area -perfect for reading or a relaxing cup of tea with local biscuits and delicacies.
You can enjoy the panoramic views over breakfast on the veranda, take a refreshment at the bar, or dine at our excellent restaurant — either a la carte or sampling a range of our local recipes, which make use of the best Tuscan produce. There is a wide, carefully selected wine list, concentrating of course on the excellent wines of Tuscany.
Supplied with magnetic keys, guests have excellent freedom of movement, and there is very good access for the handicapped, both inside and outside the hotel.
The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and furnished with all modern conveniences, including satellite TV, fridge and phone. There is also internet access in the lobby of the hotel.

The Restaurant
The refined and comfortable Restaurant Corys offers high quality cuisine, excellent local wines and outstanding service, with typical Tuscan dishes prepared by our chef all to satisfy your good taste. Breakfast and lunch are served in the garden overlooking the splendid Valdichiana valley and lake Trasimene. Guests can enjoy the crisp morning air and later the coolness of the midday shade. Restaurant in is open all week. By reservation, we can arrange receptions for special events.

Das Hotel und Restaurant Corys liegt in Cortona im Herzen Italiens, der Wiege der etruskischen Kultur.
Der Legende nach verlor Dardanus, der Gründer von Cortona, seinen Corys corythos (Helm) im Kampf gegen die benachbarten Völker an eben diesem Ort; daher der Name Corito, aus dem dann später Cortona wurde.
