Casale Ruffignano è un antico palazzo finemente ristrutturato, nel cuore della montagna cortonese, tra Toscana e Umbria. Storicamente potrebbe ricondursi alla Villa di Rufino, primo generale di Alarico Re dei Goti. Immersa nel verde e circondata da bellezze naturali, la struttura offre un lussuoso soggiorno in assoluta quiete, non solo vicino a Cortona ma anche ad altre città d'arte, per la sua particolare posizione al confine tra Toscana e Umbria.

L'edificio è strutturato su 3 piani, interamente in pietra serena e rifinito con materiali tipici della tradizione: pavimenti in cotto, travi ed infissi in legno, scale in pietra. Gli ospiti avranno libero accesso alla grande piscina ad uso esclusivo e ai grandi saloni con camino al piano terra.
La struttura è arredata con gusto e dotata di ogni comodità (Tv, riscaldamento a gas, biancheria, utensili da cucina), e consente diverse possibilità: può essere affittata come unica Villa con complessive 6 camere e oltre 12 posti letto. Il casale può essere anche diviso in 2 appartamenti su 2 piani, dove ogni appartamento è dotato di cucina-soggiorno, 3 ampie camere con bagno. La struttura è quindi adatta per piccole comitive o gruppi, oppure, come villa singola, per chi vuole godere in esclusiva di un ambiente raffinato nella quiete della montagna cortonese.

Agli ospiti sarà offerto un buffet di benvenuto con degustazione di prodotti locali nei caratteristici saloni con camino a piano terra, sarà fornita legna per i caminetti presenti negli appartamenti e sarà fatto omaggio di prodotti tipici della zona.

Country House Casale Ruffignano

Ruffignano country house is an ancient palace fine restructured, in the heart of the mountain around Cortona, between Tuscany and Umbria. Historically could be named by “the Villa of Rufino”, first general of Alarico, King of the Goti.
Encircled from natural beauties, the structure offers a luxury stay in absolute quiet, not far from Cortona (about 10 Km.) and also near to other cities of art, for its particular position to the border between Tuscany and Umbria.

The building is structured on 3 plans, entirely builded and restored with typical materials of the tradition The hosts will have free access to the big swimming pool at their exclusive use and to the great halls with fireplace. The structure is furnished with every comfort (Tv, heating to gas, linen, tools from kitchen), and concurs various possibilities: it can be rented like single Villa with total 6 rooms with bathrooms.

The country house can also be divided in 2 apartments on 2 floors, where every apartment is equipped of kitchen-stay, 3 wide rooms with bath. A small dinner will be offered as welcome with tasting of native products in the characteristic halls, will be supplied firewood for the present fireplaces in the apartments and will be made homage of typical products of Cortona.
