A combined tour of Cortona to discover the most and least well known parts of a city which transmits to visitors the fascination and charm of centuries of history.

With one of guides from the Association of Tourist Guides of Cortona , starting from the highest part of the city, we will visit some of the more significant churches, as St. Margherita, St. Niccolo', St. Francesco. Descending towards the Duomo, we will visit the city centre with its ancient lively ‘piazza'.
We will visit the Diocese Museum where a famous Beato Angelico painting is to be found, or the Etruscan Museum where there are the splendid treasures which date back to the Etruscans.

We'll conclude with a walk along the oldest and least known streets, such as Via Iannelli , Via del Gesu', Via Guelfa , and if you are not too tired your guide will lead you to see the Etruscan walls of the town, to end your tour at Porta Bifora , recently restored and open to the public

At the excursion's end we will have a drink together , an apéritif or a glass of wine typical of the area, in one of Cortona's bars to complete the tour with a taste of local life in this enchanting corner of Tuscany.

The price includes:

- Tour of the city half day , with qualified guide.
- Entry to the Diocese Museum or to the Etruscan Museum.
- Offer in the Church of St. Nicolo for the person who opens the church for the group
- 1 apéritif or a glass of wine, trying out typical produce in one of Cortona's bars.

THE TOUR WILL BE DONE EVERY SATURDAY and WEDNESDAY in the morning WITH RESERVATIONS WITHIN 13.00 OF THE PREVIOUS DAY, WHEN THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF PASSENGERS (4) WILL BE REACHED
